Sex and gender are essential determinants of our health, yet awareness of their importance is still incomplete. This results in a lack of knowledge about the impact of sex and gender. This is compounded by the persistence of preconceived ideas, both for professionals and for users.
Research could go further in exploring the influence of these factors to increase the available knowledge. The training of professionals could also take this into account in order to integrate these factors into practices, in line with their effects on health.
After having exposed these issues in its report "Sex, genre et santé", the HAS will bring together actors from research and training and professionals in the field on 28 June to keep the conversation going.
In order to prepare this conference, the HAS welcomes questions by those interested in attending the event.
