A series of Cross-Network Activities has been organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation National Networks of Romania - Group of the European Youth for Change (GEYC), Turkey - Anka Gençlik Derneği (Anka Youth Association) and Tunisia - La voix de l’enfant rural (AVER) in the Framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Virtual Marathon for Dialogue in the EuroMed.
#GenderIDTalks aims to promote gender equality in the sense of raising awareness on the topic of Women and gender stereotypes in a cross-cultural and cross-sectorial way, by connecting it to other key issues (SDGs and ICD, entrepreneurship, media and advertising, youth and digital) and empowering people towards a meaningful civic, economic, social, and cultural participation. The panels will give them a voice and bring youth together with stakeholders, to exchange experiences and ideas as an important asset for solidarity and future development, to find the roots of and break down the gender stereotypes and intercultural dialogue.
The First panel (1,5-2h) represents a social gathering that will present the importance of addressing Women and gender stereotypes issues in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and their target, as well as the relevance of ICD to break down those stereotypes. There will be 4-6 panelists, who will discuss the challenges and the possible solutions and will have the chance to share some best practices of their work. After the speakers’ presentations, there will be a Q&A with participants.
