The artistic language of collage built upon mixtures and hybridisms brings together the 15 works that make up the exhibition. The collages map our present in all its complexity, whilst simultaneously projecting a gender-equal future.
The featured artists – professional and amateur, and all from the Euro-Mediterranean region – redraw gender roles and slash sexist stereotypes and pigeonholing, creating empowering feminist narratives.

This exhibition is the result of the art contest launched by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation (FFEM), as part of the “Voix de femmes” project (led by Forum Femmes Méditerranée in collaboration with the Anna Lindh Foundation).
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
