The cycle of debates "Talking about gender and genres", organised by the UNESCO Chair Women, Development and Culture (led by Mònica Rius Piniés, ADHUC-University of Barcelona), continues with a conversation between Laura Casielles and Ale Oseguera. Both Casielles and Oseguera combine literary writing and journalism with academic activities, amongst others. They will talk about the diversity of the fields to which they devote themselves, which will lead them to reflect on the logics of (in)visibility that inform their writing practices.
This activity is part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); specifically goal number 5: achieve gender equality. The SDGs shape the United Nations 2030 Agenda and are a continuation of the Millennium Development Goals.
