The final conference of the DECIDES Europe project, Preventing Gender-Based Violence – the Youth’s Outlook, will take place on 10th and 11th November 2020 online, via Zoom.
The DECIDES Europe project runs from 2018 to 2020 and is implemented by Interarts and Trabe (Spain), Transcena (Romania) and Kvindemuseet i Danmark (Denmark). It is co-funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (REC 2014-2020). The project seeks to contribute to the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV) by improving the awareness of young people about all forms of GBV, its causes, consequences and by providing tools to prevent and encourage local authorities and schools involved to set up a common framework or protocol of action to address GBV in the educational system.
The Final Conference will address the main topics that have been developed throughout the project and will present the results achieved and the outputs produced to allow other organizations to implement and develop its approach and methodologies.
The Conference is organized around four thematic sessions with simultaneous translation in English, Spanish and Romanian. Each of the sessions offer exciting presentations from keynote speakers. Participants can choose which sessions to sign up for and will be able to join in the conversation with follow up questions in a moderated Q&A-session with the presenters. It is necessary to register in advance for each session.
