Our Foundation, represented by Mrs. Natalie Pilhes, Vice President of the Foundation, will participate in the workshop ‘’From Roadblocks to Roadmaps: Together to strengthen women’s political participation – Arab Region Learning and Exchange Workshop’’ which will take place on 15 and 16 December 2019 in Amman (Jordan).
Organized by Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF) in collaboration with UN Women, this workshop aims to enhance networking and cross exchange for wider women engagement among active parties and players in the field. It will gather mainly representatives from Yemen, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia and Iraq, as well as other stakeholders.
YLDF is a Yemeni NGO aiming at increasing female and male youth participation in the development of their communities through high quality education and participative and action-oriented training.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
