The Parisian Amphitheater "Buffon" will host on December 3, 2019 the celebration of the thirty anniversary of the multidisciplinary feminist annual journal "Les Cahiers du CEDREF".
The journal is attached to the Teaching, Documentation and Research Center for Feminist Studies (CEDREF) at Paris Diderot University. It specifically focuses on cutting-edge research (postcolonial and transnational feminism), the translation of relevant founding texts, and new research in feminist studies.
The Event will be inaugurated by Azadeh Kian, Deputy Secretary General of the Euro -Mediterranean Academic and Scientific Network on Gender and Women (RUSEMEG), professor of sociology and director of CEDREF; and will include several conferences and discussions tackling a wide range of subjects such the ‘’ Re-articulation of social relations of gender, class, race, Xicanisma, queer of color critique and decolonialism ; gender, migration and globalization and intersectionality among others.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
