On November 22nd, Barcelona (Spain) will be hosting the XI edition of the MEDA Women Entrepreneurs Forum which is considered as one of the largest events where business women, female entrepreneurs, senior officials and other relevant actors meet up to exchange ideas, share experiences and reflect on women’s roles and contributions to the world of business and entrepreneurship.
Mrs. Nathalie Pilhes, a founding member of the Euro – Mediterranean Women’s Foundation (FFEM), will be participating at the forum, along with other members of the foundation’s network such as the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB), and KAGIDER.
Co-organized by the Association of Mediterranean Business Women’s Organizations (AFAEMME) in collaboration with the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean (ASCAME), the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the European Institute of the Mediterranean – IEMed (also a founding member of the FFEM), the forum will be held under the theme of “Unlocking the potential of Women Entrepreneurs” and within the framework of the XIII Mediterranean week of Economic Leaders.
This year’s edition is structured in a manner to facilitate the meeting of corporate experts from a diverse industrial and cultural landscape; highlight the experiences of eminent and international business women; encourage the networking and collaboration among peers from both the business and industrial sectors.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
