On July 4th, the faculty of geography and history of Barcelona University will be hosting a seminar entitled ‘’Intersected Gazes: perspectives on queer debates’’ organized by the Tàcita Muta (Grup d’Estudis de Dones i Gènere a l’Antiguitat (gender and women in antiquity study group)), a group linked to the Centre on theory, gender and sexuality – ADHUC, and GENI (a research group on gender, identity and diversity). This activity will include a lecture by David Carrillo-Rangel (University of Bergen – Norway) , followed by a panel discussion with the participation of Òscar Guasch (GENI-University of Barcelona), María Teresa Vera-Rojas (ADHUC-University of LLeida), and Fina Birulés (ADHUC-University of Barcelona).
The event will be presented by Maria Dolors Molas Font (coordinator of Tàcita Muta) and Olga Jubany (coordinator of GENI).
Entrance is free of charge. Auditors can request a certificate of attendance if required.
