On March 26, 2019, the Anaouat association for women and children organized a meeting on the law 103.13 related to the fight against violence against women, at Dar Chabab Mjs Mejatt and in cooperation with the association Zitoun.
This meeting, which was attended by women beneficiaries of the activities of Zitoun association, focused on the different forms of violence (psychological, physical, sexual and economic), and the laws and articles that the law provides to protect women. Anaouat therefore reviewed the many procedures that women can seek if they happen to be victims of violence.
The beneficiaries of the meeting appreciated the approach taken by the associations. Indeed, it was the first time for them to tackle this subject in a clear and explicit manner. The meeting was conducted in French and the local arabic dialect, with the support of a video and PowerPoint presentation.
