As every year for the past 5 years, the Aswat Nissa Association is organizing the closing ceremony of its flagship program the Women’s Political Academy. The event will take place on Friday, November 30, 2018, at its premises located at 3 Bassora Street, Lafayette, starting from 18:00.
The 2018 Women’s Political Academy is made up of 20 participants including seven female municipal elected representatives from different political parties and from different regions of Tunisia.
The purpose of the closing ceremony will be to celebrate the efforts made by the women candidates and the commitment they have shown throughout the year at the Women’s Political Academy. Several political actors will attend this ceremony including MPs from different political parties. Among the guests, there will also be important figures of civil society, journalists as well as Allies and partners of Aswat Nissa for this 2018 promotion of the Political Academy namely, the German Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Foundation and the Canadian organization Forum of Federations.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
