Are we at the time of a great anthropological revolution, of a major upheaval in gender relations? Are paternalism, machismo and sexism on the verge of giving up arms in Mediterranean societies or are we witnessing, at the same time, even more regressive and discriminatory movements?
These questions and others will be debated by sixteen speakers -including Leïla Tauil, Sophie Bessis and Asma Lamrabet- through four round tables within the 25th Averroes Meetings (Rencontres d’Averroès) that will take place on 15-18 November 2018 in Marseille (France).
