From the 24th to the 26th of October, the "8th Meeting of the Gender Diversity and Governance around the Mediterranean Network” will be held at the Basil Fuleihan Finance Institute in Beirut (Lebanon). The event is organized by the Basil Fuleihan Institute, in collaboration with the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), Expertise France and the “Institut français” (French Institute) of Lebanon.
On the 24th, the session will aim to make an assessment of 4 years of the Gender Diversity and Governance Network and discuss about the management of women and the skills of women leaders in the public sphere. The opening session will welcome testimonies of ambassadors, former ministers and high-officials of the Euro-Mediterranean countries. The Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation (FFEM) will be represented at this session by Ms. Nathalie Pilhes, one of the foundation’s board members.
The sessions on the 25th and 26th of October will focus on leadership and the skills required to lead by considering gender analysis as a professional skill, useful for women leaders themselves, but also as a driver of change for women’s leadership.
Some of the sessions are closed and others are open to the public. For more information, visit the link below and download the attached file.
