Between February 27th and March 1st 2018, Life Foundation for Development and Community Integration participated in a workshop organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on "Mainstreaming gender perspective in the monitoring and evaluation of HIV services for women" in Cairo, Egypt.
The workshop was attended by representatives of a number of associations and official bodies such as Caritas – Egypt, the Egyptian Ministry of Health, Fighting and Treating Addiction Fund (FTAF), UNICEF, the Association for the care of female prisoners’ children, the Friends Association, Freedom Foundation, the Association of Youth for Population and Development, as well as representatives of a number of hospitals. The workshop tackled a number of topics such as: tools and systems for monitoring and evaluation, the use of monitoring data, international guidelines, and the importance of follow-up programs.
