Aula Mediterrània is an inter-university programme that aims to foster studies on the Mediterranean with as wide and interdisciplinary a perspective as possible by holding a conference cycle. Started in 2015, it is the result of the collaboration between the IEMed and the academic world.
Regarding the conference cycle "Aula Mediterrània 2017-2018", this research seminar brings together experts and latest research on various topics related to the Mediterranea region.
Some of the topics related to this seminar are: "Women in Islam: a (spiritual) revolution?" "Revisiting forced marriages in Europe: between normative frameworks and gray areas" or "Empowering women in the Mediterranean".
This event is aimed only at researchers and students of the Master’s degree programmes with which the IEMed organises the Aula Mediterrània cycle (access by invitation).
