The inter-networks Common Action of the Anna Lindh Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue (ALF) will take place, in Naples in Italy, between the 11th and the 14th of September 2017 . The event is organized by the ALF’s Italian Network in partnership with the national networks from the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia & Hercegovina, France, Malta and Tunisia, and with the engagement of the other members of the Foundation from 42 member countries.
The European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Forum Femmes Méditerranée will participate as Heads of the Spanish and the French Networks, and the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation will also be represented through Fouzia Assouli’s intervention. Gednder equality will be the central axis of the meeting as participants will encourage decision-makers in different countries to adopt measures capable of guaranteeing gender equality, women’s empowerment and the end of all kinds of violence through a better participation of women in the life of society.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
