The online video competition is an event organized and launched by the Institute for Women's Studies in the Arab World (IWSAW) in collaboration With United Nations Women (UN Women), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), and Abaad.
This event invites youth from the Arab region to create a short video (30 sec max), to show their solidarity with the 16 Days of Activism, and to voice their opinion against gender based violence in a creative and innovative way.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
