For the commemoration of International Women’s Day, CAWTAR and WFP and their partners - the Francophone Network for Gender Equality of OIF and EMWF- with the participation of UNWOMEN and FAO are organizing on Wednesday March 9 2022 a Webinar to be held via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Tunis time).
The theme of the Webinar will be "The Resilience of Rural Women, an Asset for Post-Covid-19 Recovery: Field Data". This event will present and discuss recent surveys related to the subject, as well as case/country studies and future projects around the issue of rural women’s economic empowerment in Tunisia and in the region. It will also discuss the relationship between national and regional actors in order to allow better synergy between projects and stronger cooperation.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
